Mannequin is a film production group based in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa. Mannequin focuses on producing content out of South Africa for the global market, harnessing South Africa’s unique locations, world-class film industry, competitive foreign exchange rates, and rebate system for both international and local productions. Mannequin has produced projects with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Aaron Eckhart, Trevor Noah, Rebecca Romijn, and Lacey Chabert.

Delon Bakker
CEO, Head of Development & Financing
Delon Bakker is a South African-born producer and co-founder of the film production group Mannequin. He graduated with a BA in Motion Picture from AFDA Film School and completed the SEDIBA Advanced Producer Programme, which focused on International Film Finance. One of the most exciting producing talents to emerge from South Africa, his understanding of international co-production treaties has been invaluable in developing and producing international projects out of South Africa.
Kyle Ambrose
COO, Head of production
Kyle, a South African-born producer and co-founder of Mannequin, graduated from AFDA with a BA in Motion Picture and has run all physical production for the company for the past 18 years. Kyle serves as line producer on all Mannequin projects, overseeing budgeting and scheduling, and tailoring production resources to the project’s specific needs. His in-depth knowledge of technical innovations, workflows, and financial protocols makes him a cornerstone in line producing international projects utilising South Africa’s resources.
Mogambury "Morgan" Pather
Head of Operations
Mogambury, favourably known as Morgan, has been in the film industry for more than 30 years and has been involved in over 35 films. His work in logistics for high-profile productions such as Blood Diamond, Safe House, and The Dark Tower has elevated him to one of the most respected and sought-after individuals in the South African industry. Morgan has developed an unmatched skill set that integrates comprehensive logistical planning with a deep understanding of South Africa’s unique production landscape and meticulously oversees all logistics and operations for Mannequin Films Production Services.
Warwick Eccles
Development Executive
Warwick Eccles, a UK-South African development executive at Mannequin, manages the development department, overseeing project development and packaging. Graduating from AFDA with Cum Laude in a BA in Motion Picture, he has a firm understanding of script development, film financing plans, and co-productions, ensuring both commercial and artistic success. He developed and co-produced the comedy documentary series World’s Strangest Jobs (starring Schalk Bezuidenhout), released on Amazon Prime Video.
Andile Gumbo
Development Assistant
Andile J. Gumbo, part of the Mannequin development team, supports the company in project development, scriptwriting, and editing. He graduated Cum Laude from AFDA Johannesburg (BA). Andile has written for several independent projects, including his film Cat.Fisch, which won the Critics' Choice Award at the Garden Route International Film Festival (2022). His short film work includes The Novelist (2019) and the award-winning zombie comedy Go For the Head (2024). Outside of film, he is a published author, with his debut novel Hour of the Wolf released in 2023.
Ara Bhabha
Production
Ara Bhabha is a Persian-South African filmmaker with an Honours degree in Film Theory and Practice from the University of Cape Town. Ara has worked as a writer and juror at the Encounters Documentary Film Festival and has mentored emerging filmmakers through various programmes including Stepping Stones. As a writer, director, and producer, her work is rooted in experimental and personal filmmaking, exploring themes of memory, identity, and connection. Ara currently works in development and production at Mannequin Films and is in development for her documentary, Malalai.
Tamson Ball
Production
Tamson Ball is a South African film and television professional with experience as a production coordinator on several projects, including the SAFTA-winning film 'n Tyd van Waterpere. She graduated with distinction in Motion Picture Medium from AFDA Johannesburg and earned an Honours degree in Arts, Culture and Heritage Management from WITS. A Gold Award alumna of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, Tamson is committed to growth and community impact. She aspires to become a line producer, bringing creativity and precision to every production she joins.
